FBD. Nice. Stout season is upon us... Just pulled this on out a the fridge at ABV Pub. Thought about the BA Speedway Stout, but it was a little rich for my blood today... Nice alternative.

Really big imperial stout...

It was $9.50.

The BA Speedway Stout was $35.00.

Easy choice.

Eta: Not that easy. Big Bad Baptist was the same price as the BX...

FBD is a karbach weekend warrior in a hotel.

Official bike race was 94 miles in 5 hours and 35 minutes (riding time only). Once I crossed the finish line I turned around and did 6 more to put a check mark on the bucket list.

100 miles. Being apart of the century club is surreal. Not really. I'll never do this shite again.

Welcome to the club.....there are no privileges unless you go sub 5 hrs.

Why was the race only 94 miles?

I had a killer mph average for the first 85. Then we took the galveston bay ferry for 30 minutes and my legs seized up when we took off again. Last 15 I was doing about 13.

I don't know. Just how they mapped it I guess. Whole race is 180. 94 today and 86 tomorrow.
