Go to Freetail

For the most part, Jester King only sells their good stuff onsite now.

Why do I know so little about this?

I'll try to give myself a free day for this.

I'm currently sitting on a blackberry sour from Ranger Creek. Anyone had it? BA rating isn't great.

Well I supplied you with some breweries and shops, enjoy and congrats on the new job. I know last time we spoke you had only interviewed for it.

If y'all know any good beer bars in the area, let me know.

Going for a film festival near the airport, I think.

Internet said it is 10 minutes from downtown. I don't mind driving/cabbing (depending whether I rent a car) downtown. I'll be desperate to dine and drink out.

Haven't had it. I love sours. And blackberries. Unfortunate it doesn't have good reviews.

I forgot I saw you that day.

It is amazing so far. Never had this much responsibility. This will be very good for my future.

Louisiana is going to put an embargo on beer shipments from out of state once they realize how much Abrasive you guys are shipping in from Minnesota.

We did get plenty this year. Did you get any?

his threads weird. Did I miss something?

Maybe just a little edge from yesterday's thread, which was horrible. The FBD threads are not the place for OT bullshite. The IMing is gonna happen because so many of us know each other IRL and I enjoy that, but the other stuff, not so much.

Now that Freetail has a second brewpub, they're suppose to start distributing to Houston.

Gabriel's on 1604 up north is the best place to buy beer in SA. It's right down from the original Freetail, so if you're up that way you can knock both of those out.

Awesome. We'll have to be on the lookout. Jones' apartment in Galveston is next door to a Specs and they get pretty much everything Houston gets.

Perfect. If I rent a car, I will definitely do this. Definitely.

Freetail is pretty legit. I stop in there every time I go to SA.

Soul doubt ipa is nice. Barleywine was top notch although not my favorite type of beer.

Not yet. I haven't even been looking lately. Went back to work on Tuesday for my first full day since December 10th. Couple that with drinking a little too much Monday night with Rouge and List and his week has been rough. I'll keep an eye out for some more.

I just went back and skimmed through yesterday's thread. Now I get it. Sometimes shite like that has to get out in the open. I don't think it will ever be the same as it was 2 years ago. There's so much IRL action, people can get personal when they shite talk and it'll turn from simple jokes to a thread derailing shitshow. It's all good though...Beer rights all wrongs.

I had a couple of nephews working in Ohio that sent me lots of Great Lakes stuff, so I have been fortunate to have tried several. All were excellent. From what I remember, I've had the Blackout Stout, Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, Elliot Ness Vienna Lager, Lake Erie Monster DIPA and Rye of the Tiger IPA. All of them were excellent representatives of their styles.

I just looked on thier site. They have La Muerta, Soul Doubt, Witicus, and Local Coffee Stout available in bottles/cans. All of those are top notch. Hopefully they're available when you go.
