It's cut in half and smashed with not a potato masher (which makes it look different but still tastes great)

I like smashing it .. concentrates the flavor in a thinner, smaller bite. You use the pioneer woman recipe? that's the one I use. I add butter and some shaved cheese right at the end though under the broiler. takes it to another level. my gf who is a notorious starch hater even loves them.

Licensing exams during the day then copious alcohol consumption afterwards.

Kim Jong not Un, solid win tonight! Good job comrad.

We're having Seattle's very own Schooner Exact ales tonight in $7 growlers. Yum!

Time for darts. I might just beat Steve tonight....

I'm having:

I'm hoping to send Steve up Profanity Hill shortly.

Thanks. I should be studying right now, but I'm all studied out and would rather talk beer with people while wishing I was drinking some.

I'm a big proponent of the whole relax and take your mind off of studies the night before the test.

Had another Founders Breakfast Stout in the hotel bar. That is a really good beer. Shutting it down for now. Tomorrow is another day.

Keep studying. You won't regret it. There will always be ale. But you will only be in college for a short while. So chin up and out of the mug for now. Hold yourself in abeyance.

i do too but we've been between homes for quite some time and only have basic kitchen tools.

yes. I didn't know there were others. You add butter on top of the olive oil? I'm going to have to try adding cheese.

What herbs have you used. We have an azalea sized rosemary bush so that's all we use but just planted a couple basil plants.

Ha, if only I was still in college. This is an exam for professional licensure. If I haven't learned material by tonight, a few hours won't help.

it really takes it to another level. I like shaved pecorino romano.

I've only used rosemary. Fresh from my neighbor's/former landlord's backyard (he doesn't really know I still sneak back there and take some) :orko:

I'll be back in the FBD thread tomorrow as an actual contributor rather than commentator.
