FBD- Master Taunt, a blend of Master Shredder and Crucial Taunt. It's pretty good for what it is.

Yes. I'm not tasting any difference between draft and can, fwiw.

Fort George hit a home run this year. I don't know how they are going to beat this, next year.

2BD is a Stone Ghost Hammer. It was between this and Enjoy By in cans. Last EB was too boozy for my soft city boy pallet so elected for this. I like better than Ripper, only qualm is that the box touted checking for freshness on the bottom of the can, comparing it to eggs and veggies... hard to do that when it's boxed up.

There is no way. This is one of best beers I've ever had. 3BD is damn fine:

Let's do this one more time. This beer is very complex and each sip takes on a slightly different flavor, with some being all juice, and others highlighting the dankness...

Then again, wtf do I know?

Check out the Nola Brew Buss website for a good list of stores to check out.

You should be able to find the standards for most local breweries (envie, commotion, holy roller, etc.) Not sure if yall get it up by you, and it's not LA, but grab some Devil's Harvest breakfast IPA if you see it. Good stuff. I'm but a mere visitor to Nola these days, so hopefully the locals can give you better recs.

Thanks GR, I will check out the website. I'm pretty pumped, I don't make it to nola near as much as I'd like. Ready for some great food, music, and brews. Very excited to try some Courtyard stuff.

Like I said last night, it is a combo of NE juice and NW dank and it is wonderful.

I think I am going to pass on the Elevated IPA this time and ask for Bosque brews. Which ones do I want?

The last batch of Elevated I got was tasty.

As for Bosque, their regular IPA is fantastic, but they put the dates on the bottom of the cans, not on the box. So your friend will have to open the box to verify a fresh date. If within 90 days, it's awesome.

I would have him look for the May 2017 bomber of Project Dank. This batch is phenomenal.

TD - I'll set aside a 4 pack for you. You'll be here at an awkward time. The first batch was just delivered. Its pretty much gone. The second batch will last longer, but it may not get here until after you leave.

Having said that, I sent you the details of a Ft George tap takeover at NWIPA. That place is on Draft Magazines list of top 100 taprooms, even though it only has 6 taps. It is a great place and they will probably have cans for sale there, in addition to having Matryoshka on tap...
