It gets a lot of love on here for being a nice, easy-drinking American IPA, but I don't see people gushing over it or mentioning it with the world-class DIPAs.

Gose isn't available right now.

It will be back in rotation this spring.

I swear this is the most overrated beer on this board.

Jai Alai gets a lot of love here for sure. That all said, its a darn good IPA that can occasionally be found for $8-9 a six pack.

The problem you, myself and many others have run into is that your palate now prefers hop bomb DIPA style brews and ordinary IPA's just arent doing it for you any more. I still drink Jai Alai from time to time and enjoy the variants but there are so many good IPA's now that it does get lost in the crowd.

Jai Alai is really good but since I already have access to so many great IPAs, I don't care to search/trade for it.

It's like all good beers that aren't readily available to you in that it will get hyped up more than it should. Just my .02

I went through a big hop bomb phase last spring and early summer. By the the time August rolled around I found myself going back to IPA's and regular ole pale ales. I'm sure I'll go back to some DIPA's soon, but I find my style of preference is pretty cyclical.
