Listen to serious eats and soak the noddles instead of par-boiling them.

Fbd was a few sips of Irish channel stout while making a chili

I'm drinking an Envie as second BD but my phone needs a full charge to take pics apparently.

Good, good shite.

Damn too late. I boiled for 5 minutes instead of 10 and am going to let them cook fully while baking.

Using a recipe from Bon Appétit. I'm scary obsessed with that magazine/website.

Random but if any of y'all like magazines and have Verizon, you get rewards points each time you log into your account and pay your bill and etc. And then you shop using the points. They have different magazine subscriptions for free each week... Your rewards points pay for them. So I have 7 different magazine subscriptions that I got for free from that.

Next time you make it try the soaking method. It works really well, the pasta doesn't over cook at all.

Zita has been staple after watching the sopranos inspired me too make it.

NBD: SA Art Car. Definitely not a bad everyday drinker, but should have not drank after Envie :/

FBDs Pale ale showdown

Call me crazy but I gotta give this newly reformulated Envie the slight edge. Nose is better, juicier. The only thing it doesn't have is a little bitterness to balance the sweetness. Both are superb examples of the style IMO. Need to revisit this with a bomber of Sue. Bomber > cans from my memory.
