Since most of my summers crops have just about played themselves out, I'm trying to figure out what I should plant in the fall. What are yall planting? Are there any corn varieties that are good to grow right now?

mustard and turnip greens are right around the corner.. start saving ham bones, smoked hock, tasso. Make sure you got plenty of pepper sauce and corn meal for the hot water cornbread...

I have an eggplant plant that got shaded by my tomatoes. Now it is growing tall and fat, but no flowers. Anyone know the time it takes most eggplants to mature?

Eggplants should be craking right now. I have white, green, and black eggplant bushes and I am picking 3-5 off each bush/week.

Me too. I would say that I have about 2 or 3 more weeks until the plants die off. I still have a good bit of okra coming off of the bush, and have corn ready to harvest next week.

Awesome site. Looks like I can still get some tomatoes back in the ground.

about 45 days to produce. I have 8 planted, so far only the ichiban are producing but the whites are coming in.
