I can't think of a hot non-BA beer off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are some that I've had.

I find that Abrasive is a hotter DIPA than something like Heady (comparing similar beers of the same style). There's just more alcohol warmth in Abrasive than many DIPAs. I find that's the thing that holds it back from being a top tier DIPA.

I've only had one taste of Heady, and while outstanding, I didn't get to appreciate it like I'd want to. I don't feel qualified to split the hairs necessary to distinguish between beers of that quality when I've not had enough of them.

Eh, I'm not one to give overly detailed descriptions either, but I don't think it's "mental patient" level Some people have the ability to distinguish tastes that I cannot, and as long as they aren't being so ridiculous that I laugh at them (and yes, this happens even on this board), I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

While I've never used the particular word "mouthfeel", it really isn't a matter of opinion as to whether or not beers vary in viscosity. If you prefer a different term to describe that, so be it.

i don't blame you. its a slippery slope around here when female posters start throwing around mouthfeel. you don't need that kind of harrassment

Have you ever had Ten Fidy? If so please describe for me. Just curious how you would describe certain beers.

No.

Is there a bad mouthfeel in a beer that you think tastes good? Is there a good mouthfeel in a beer you think tastes bad?
