I am trying to get one more boil in this upcoming weekend, but I am afraid they are big and tough at this point in the season.

Anyone got an update?

Boiled last night. Told my dad they didn't look like end of May crawfish. Looked like March.

My sons FFA class did a boiled crawfish fundraiser. They boiled 500lbs. They were actually on the smaller side, tender and very fatty. I enjoyed them thoroughly.

We did. They were huge, but they were hard as hell to peel. The person boiling also did a shitty job, which undoubtedly contributed to it.

Never heard crawfish described in this way.
