Anybody ever been to this place? I stopped by yesterday for the first time and was blown away. I did my standard cracklings and boudin along with their specialty "deer burrito". The cracklings were freaking awesome. Some of the best I've had ever. The boudin was great too. Haven't tried the deer burritos yet but I'm sure those are good too. great find in the Watson area and the folks that run it are as friendly as can be.

Everything I've gotten from them has been pretty good. The Jalapeno/Cheddar deer sausage is pretty spot on also.

Their hog head cheese is excellent as well.

I thought the boudin was just OK, and the deer burrito just tasted like a regular burrito. But the stuffed boudin balls, cracklins, and hogs head cheese were great. If I'm not mistaken I think this is the place with the jalapeño cheddar hh cheese.

I stop whenever I pass by. I want to like the stuffed boudin balls, but they could be better. Love the deer burritos. Meat pies are good, so are the smoked pork chops. I've been wanting to try more of their frozen stuff.

Oh yeah, cracklins are on point.

I realize this is probably a dumb question but how do you eat hog head cheese? What do you do with it?

Were the smoked pork chops in the refrigerator or did you have them cook to order?

They have them on the counter at room temp in clear wrap. Where they keep ribs and other smoked meats. Don't always have them though.

They are great. I don't go that often, but when I do I can't help but spend about $50-60.

I've been trying to tell yall for years that it's a fantastic locally owned place.

I'm lucky enough to travel all through out the state and make it a habit to seek out specialty meat places, and I really like a lot of their stuff.

I've never seen the place mentioned on the FADB. I will be a repeat customer of this establishment though for sure.
