since its hard to get crawdads up here in nashville..i wonder if someone has a good recipe for maybe shrimp/mac/cheese?

what about that fleming's mac/cheese receipe? would that be a good base to add shrimp or some other type of seafood to?

it sounds delicious (Shut up hulk & myth)

Made some last night.

Start with a béchamel sauce by mixing flour and butter... Then whisk in milk slowly... I also added some chicken stock. Then added a bunch of fresh graded parm and white cheddar. Folded in cooked rotini, pan fried shrimp in bacon grease, crumbled bacon, and spices. Pretty easy

We need to keep this dish on the down low.. If people in Italy knew we made a seafood and CHEESE pasta dish they would protest and kill each other and storm a UN building in protest..

I don't know about crawfish or shrimp, but Shula's in New Orleans has a Crabmeat Mac & Cheese that is amazing!
