Non-stick pots and pans is what I seek. No high end, but no crap. I’ve got a T-fal set that’s about twenty years old, but several pieces have walked off over the years.

Opinions on Carote, specifically.

That’s if the people using them know what they are doing, from start to finish. The two college kids and the 11 year old, who like to cook and definitely eat don’t get to use our cast iron. They get to use the Taste-ware, cheap set of nonstick that works for them.

I have the 8 in. and 12 in. Carote fry pans. They are my go to egg pans, and I have been using them for over 5 years with no issues. They still work as well as they did when new. I use nothing but plastic and or wooden utensils in them. I would consider an entire set if I was in the market for new pots and pans.

I mostly use all-clad stainless steel and olive oil but for nonprotein I added the 14-inch from Circulon and it's pretty much money for non-stick and you can use metal utensils (I don't tho)

Whatever they have at Sam's Club. I buy them by the set in 3 sized and replace about every ten years.

Damn, that's a long time for non-stick

Just go to TJ Maxx/Home goods and buy whatever all clad ones they have. They almost always have several different sizes

Bang for buck is easy. Go to Sam's, but a new $14 non stick skillet each year. I didn't do a lot in non stick that wasn't for breakfast, but the first sign of a flaking coating, the pan was disappeared, and I pulled the replacement out of the cabinet for the next day. Lifetime was usually about a year, ex MIL refused to not use metal utensils every week or so.

We use Made-In for our non-stick. They've all been great.

I bought a set of Tramontina skillets at Sam's and they have served me well. I also have a bunch of cast iron too.

Their own Member's Mark brand is the longest lasting non-stick I've ever had.

If the OP got 20 years out of his last set, I'm not sure why he wouldn't replace it with the same. 20 years for nonstick means it was either outstanding or you used it far beyond when you should have.

Yes, that's what I use as well, but I think that is more than the OP wants to spend

This is workhorse for breakfast. I cook everything in one skillet and it take 30 seconds to clean.

This is way off base. Professional chefs use non-stick or stainless all the time. Go follow the Gordon Ramsay YouTube channel.

I’ve gotten to where I just buy cheap ones and replace them when they start sticking

Probably a combination of those. This is the small Carote set that I have in my cart. I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

I bought a set of 3 (8", 10", 12") non-stick All-Clad frying pans at Costco for $80 yesterday. Through one use, I've been happy. Get back to me in about 5 years and I'll let you know how well the non-stick coating is holding up.

Not familiar with that brand, but those wooden handles are kinda cool.
