I got one of those from my mother-in-law and I think I used it once. Have you tried some of the better kitchen places? Maybe Goodwood Hardware? Williams-Sonoma? Sur Le Table? Bed Bath & Beyond?

Not yet. Was asking before I went searching so I don't waste time. Also, on amazon they seem expensive. Was seeing if anyone knew anyone locally who makes them so I can spend money locally and don't have to worry about the shipping (and headaches if it breaks during shipping).

Well, if I know anything about my mother-in-law, she bought that clay pot at a garage sale or thrift store. And she probably paid for it with a $10 and got back change. so maybe scour Craigslist.

Have you tried the world market website?
Might have something there.
