I haven't been in a Kroger in 20 years or so until this past weekend. I found myself in shreveport that visited the new one at Flornoy Lucas and was extremely impressed at the space.

The new Marketplace is very nice. I wish it was more on my way home that the Youree Dr Kroger, but both are better than shopping at Wal-Mart!

Our grocery stores in Natchitoches are terrible. We make the drive up Shreveport and go to that new Kroger. It's great. When we plan ahead we use their Clicklist service. Shopping for groceries on my laptop. Pull up to the side of the store and they roll them out and load them in the car. Tough to beat.

I used to have to go to Natchitoches every Tuesday for work. I love taking HWY 1. Pull out of my neighborhood and 40 minutes later I'm at stines.

$1.67 lb. Wow that's cheap. Good quality brisket has gotten steep where I live even on the whole packer with the flat and point. To buy a trimmed flat around here is like $7-8 lb.
