Yeah, I went a couple of weeks ago....not very good. Total amateur hour. Boring, unimaginative menu. Unappealing plating. Barely passable food. Embarrassing service. I doubt our waitress had a single day's experience in a restaurant. Any restaurant. Ever.

Catahoula's used to be a "destination" restaurant. Now? I guess I'd return if I lived in Grand Coteau.

I would agree with this. Wife and I went a week or two after it opened. The place was hopping. Atmosphere was great. We didn't make reservations and had almost an hour wait for a table.

Staff at bar was good. Wait staff at the table was ok, nothing to brag about. My wife's dish was not as described on the menu. Changes to the menu should be explained by the wait staff before ordering.
