Casual place in Dallas?

Looking for a recc for Tex Mex or burgers. Maybe pizza. Something casual. Couple of finicky eaters.

Torchy's Tacos is near SMU and casual -- but its sort of an american spin on tex mex (not really tex mex). But their queso is awesome.
Also, theres a taco place called La Ventana thats pretty awesome -- some of the best Tex Mex in town and not far from SMU.

Peggy Sue Barbecue near SMU is always a good option.

Old Skool texmex near SMU is Desperados.
Twisted root for burgers......Just across the street from Tourchys on SMU blvd. Aka yale Blvd.
In Denton, Mellow Mushroom for pizza. It's decent in a casual place just off the Square. There is also a Fuzzys Tacos that is a decent chain.

SPIN pizza across the street from Torchy's by smu is tasty if you need pizza.
