has anyone tried this place out? It's on government st. 5 star rating on yelp. Normally i get them at University Seafood. I like them spicy with citrus flavor. Don't care too much for salty(Tony's) crawfish.

Also, Crawfish on the Geaux has 5 star rating.

I feel like Kenny Bania and Mindy's Restaurant. Stick with what's good and proven or try new place...could be better, could be worst.?

As always, feedbacks are appreciated.

I've never had their boiled seafood, but their poboys are excellent. (Sorry, I know that's not much help.)

I'll keep that in mind next time I'm in the mood for a poboy.

I've been there many times. Great place. I love their "sweet tails."

The owner is very friendly and helpful - got me a sack of oysters for a good price when no one else in town could.

I don't think so.

Sammys I think is a little too salty. La boilers is hit or miss. Tonys last time had the seasoning on the outside.

I second the good reviews. This is the most consistent place in BR, and the owner being a really good guy is just even more reason to frequent the place.

I really want to like this place but they continually let me down. They usually don't have half the stuff on their menu and they do things like shut down the kitchen 2 hours before closing on a Friday and just sell crawfish. I get that's where the money is this time of year, but I've had shitty service more times than not from them.

I only get the roast beef poboy or the shrimp poboy when I go over there. So no complaints on that front ha

I agree Rohan. Their food is great but the people working front of house are mildly retarded.

Big fan of their roast beef po'boy. It's easily the best one i've had in town. Their oyster po'boy can also compete with any in BR. They carry Poche's boudin which is solid.

Crawfish are almost too spicy, imo. Same with their boiled crabs.

I love their crawfish. Normally a fan of Sammy's but it was a salt block Friday night

Plus I had to fuss at some old man for screaming at the 17 year old hostess because he thought his crawfish took too long

CCC just is easiest to deal with and most consistent for me.

It's funny because it's a seafood place but the only think i have gotten there is the roast beef poboy. Which is excellent. I will say that the service has kind of suffered since crawfish season started picking up.
