Going to do the staples like Cafe du Monde and easy seafood for lunch in the Quarter.

Looking for recommendations on dinner. Good atmosphere, not terribly expensive, but still a step above the laid back stuff you can duck into from the street.

Seafood is a strong desire, but doesn’t necessarily have to be the only cuisine. Also not looking for a Fancy dress code restaurant either.

Any suggestions?

How many meals do you need? It is fun to hit a bunch of places eating small plates and a drink or two and then moving on to the next spot.

Just one sit down. Have most of the nights planned. I just haven’t been to a lot of sit downs in the city and am looking to see what people tend to get around to.

I like the hopping around idea, but I think one nice spot would be good.

Get in a cab and go to Jacque Imo's. Laid back atmosphere, cool place and excellent food. Every out of towner I have brought there has raved about it months later. Get the alligator cheesecake to start.
