Breweries in Asheville, NC

I will be visiting Asheville this weekend, are there any breweries that shouldn't be missed? Also, i will be toting 3 small kids, this isn't going to pose an issue will it? TIA.

Wicked Weed (and their Funkatorium) and Burial were my favorites and must-dos in my opinion.
I’ve also been to Hi-Wire and Greenman and enjoyed both.

Heading up there tomorrow myself for a week. Wicked Weed, Burial, and Sierra Nevada are musts, from what i hear.

Forgot about Sierra Nevada since it is a little out of the city, but it is quite the operation they have out there. Definitely worth a visit.

I'll be heading there next weekend. Anyone know of any good places to watch the Ole Miss vs LSU game? I can't remember if any of the breweries have TV's or not.

In addition to everything named in the thread, I liked Wedge as well.
Wicked Weed/Funkatorium is on a different level as far as what they're doing.
Sierra Nevada is on a different level as far as their facility.
See and drink as much as you can at as many places as you can hit. It's awesome.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I am looking forward to it. Last question, is it alright to bring the kids? Being it's a family vacation, it's going to be hard to venture out without them.

Yes, they seem to be pretty much all very family friendly.
