That's why I mentioned Hushpuppies and cold beer. Maybe splurge on a large order of fries. Surely he can't screw up your beer Kim.

And let him know the food isn't where it needs to be and hopefully he will work on that as well. When he first opened he had good, basic fried seafood, a decent gumbo and he used to have $15 all you can eat boiled crawfish. That has been awhile. And as much as I'm around there he hasn't been on my radar either, but I'll give him a bit of support just because I can.

FWIW, I may not have said here, but the reason I didn't share the article on FB is because you're not going to find me "celebrating" a local restaurant failing. These are people in our community, and it is ridiculous to revel in someone's misfortune.

So. I'm not celebrating this.

But I'm not going to pretend I'm dying to go save them with my business either because I don't want to go eat there

As for why people are in BR on charter busses, it was a genuine question. I was only curious.

However you are the one pimping for a consulting job,wanting a challenge and apparently work cheap. You are missing your golden opportunity to show this chain choked town just how to do it and how good you are (apparently)so change the haters. Roll up your sleeves and make your mark. This is just what you have been telling us for six months that you are good at. I want to see you in action. I want to cheer you on, wipe your brow, tell you don't sweat it, your only the consultant it's not your money.

I don't think a man faced with bankruptcy really cares what kind of support as long as it involves money. Moral support doesn't pay the bills.

But you are right and have shamed me. I'll forsake my principles and order a full fledged fried seafood platter and a bucket of his finest brews. And I will eat it with a smile on my face, leave a nice tip, wish them luck and perhaps it will live a little longer for me to return with yet another group of friends wanting to find the new "hidden gem" in BR so it can make it into that thread.

And should you change your mind and decide to join me I will pleasantly buy you whatever your beverages of choice, hushpuppies, fries as well as an extra large bag of dicks, reverse seared of course to just a medium rare. So if you want, shove a new tampon in, grab your purse and parasol and partake in a revival. It will be SO much fun. Seriously.
