Bourbon as a gift

I'm looking to spend about $200 on a gift for a friend. Considering a good bottle of bourbon or two. Thoughts on what I should get for that price? One bottle or spread it out? Prefer to buy online and have it shipped.

Would say Pappy Van Winkle. You might be able to find a bottle, but they had a shortage and the prices went through the roof.

He can not find a bottle besides on the second hand market and $200 won't even get him a 10 year.

If he already has a favorite bourbon then your gift might not work. If he likes bourbon in a generic sense then go ahead.

He is a bourbon drinker. And rye. Doesn't have a go to that I am aware of.

I got a bottle of 20 for 350 last September. Just takes a little looking, and possibly a connection
