Are you talking about Boudreaux's on Government?

I had my wedding reception there and it was great. However, that was many years ago and haven't been back since.

I had my wedding reception there and was less than impressed. If you're just asking about the food, I don't really know because I hardly ate any of it. If you're asking about the service, it was terrible. Jeanine was my consultant and she disappeared on me during my reception and my photographer had to run things. If you were to go with them, choose one of the other two consultants.

it was still good though? I remember when I got married, I barely remember any of it. Every body pulling me in different directions. The photographer

The City Club is a great place and the food and service are exceptional as well.

Everyone was very impressed and didn't know that anything went wrong but I was very disappointed. Jeanine talked a big game and sold that place hard in the months leading up to my wedding. I never worried about anything until the day before when I had to drop some flowers off and she was nowhere to be found. She showed up the day of and my cake didn't have the flowers on it (which she assured me that they would be done), my guest book went missing (later it was found on a table in the far corner of the room), she never brought us food in our little room (my maid of honor had to go get it for me), my photographer had to show me how to cut my cake and then when we started to cut it she jumped in our pictures and told us that we were doing it wrong, she disappeared in the back for a long time and when she shows up she asked if I wanted to do a bouqet toss (that was done 20 minutes earlier), she wasn't going to give us our to go basket that we were promised until I had to hunt her down and ask for it and my aunt had to go in the kitchen to find our rose petals to toss at our exit.

It probably wasn't a big deal but she didn't do the job that we paid her to do, so I was pissed. Plus, I'm having to find other people to do the little tasks that she was paid to do so I felt like I was working the whole night. Maybe she just had an off night, but I'm still going to give her a bad recommendation.

Thank you. I like to hear everything good or bad. Anyone else? I had a friend who went there and said it was great.

On the eating floor no, but in the kitchen prepping food for the legislature banquet yes. Thier menu and food are generally top notch, and that is over a few decades of business.

Eating the food, I worked in the kitchen for a few legislature opening day banquets for the LRA(restaurant lobby group). The fat cats like the concept of stuffing thier pieholes with good free food.

I actually worked there for a short spell. I can tell you that Jeanine is cuckoo crazy so I'm not surprised to hear about a bad experience with her, but as far as reception food goes, the kitchen does a pretty good job. None of the offerings will really blow you away (of course if you spend the money you can get some nice high end items), but they do the standard catering options pretty well.
