The BBQ joint owner from Houma has his own smoked sausage and Rouse's is distributing it. Wondering if anyone on here has tried it.
Never tried it but Big Mike gets really good reviews on here for his BBQ.

Big mikes is awesome. The brisket is the best I've ever had. And there always consistent. I remember the sausage being good, but I usually stick to the pulled pork and brisket plate.

Most of the mentions on here about his joint have been very positive. Wondering how it compares to the other store-sold brands.

Its pretty good in his restaurant, I haven't tried any from Rouses though.
Big Mikes is the best run restaurant around here, probably one of the better places I've EVER been in. At one time he only had fried fish on Friday as a special, one of the workers forgot to season the batter and they served it all day like that. The next day he made a post on a Facebook admitting the mistake. He offered a refund or another fish dinner. You rarely see a business move like that.
