Hey FDB,

I am heading to Alabama tomorrow for the game on Saturday.

I love trying new beers, I prefer dark beer, NO IPAs. I don't like really hoppy beer.

Anything sold in Alabama that isn't sold here in Louisiana?

Thanks!

Blue Pants, Good People, Straight to Ale are a few Alabama breweries that I've tried. None are available in Louisiana.

Go to alcove and try their tap selection. Good local beers with national beasts too

Monkeynaut is an IPA from straight to ale in Huntsville and it's outstanding. I second the recommendation to hit up alcove too. Chill spot without all the 19 year old frat stars.

Eta: misread the IPA bit. Either way alcove is the titz

Hipster Breakfast, if you can find it. Only on draft as of now. Oatmeal stout that is fairly smooth.

Druid city brewing has a tap room off of 15th street and Black Warrior Brewing opens up downton Friday night. Looking forward to checking those out.

Best selection and bar in T-Town is Alcove I recommend it as well.

By southern prohibition out of Hattiesburg? Didn't realize they were distributing there. I still haven't tried that one.
