BBQ sauce - surprisingly good on lamb

Last Tuesday night (after a rough workday), I was stumbling through my local Whole Foods, drunk on Bloody Mary's, when I happened upon a fantastic sale. Lamb shoulder discounted to like $4.99/lb.
I'd never prepared lamb shoulder before, but having had good luck with lamb chops and leg of lamb, I quickly googled recipes while the WF butcher worked his magic.
Settling on a 4.8/5.0 reviewed Jaime Oliver recipe, I scooped up the rosemary and brussels spouts before retrieving the khaki-wrapped meat from the counter soon hereafter.
The first pass was satisfactory - roasted lamb shoulder with brussels spouts and sauerkraut (subbed in for the mashed potatoes, of course... I am still rather finishing my six-pack) rated an 8.7 out of 10.0.
But this Sunday night's leftover lamb shoulder with upper-end BBQ sauce is amazing. Best leftovers I've had this year. 9.1/10.0.
