Headed down for a bachelor party this week. I used to live in the city and have been to several. Trying to get opinions on top brewery/taproom experience from y'all. Thanks a lot.

But I would go to Bangers and sit outside and sample their vast tap list.

Austin Beerworks and Austin Beer Garden both just picked up some medals at GABF this weekend. If you venture towards New Braunfels, I like Faust Brewery and Hotel for some old school type stuff.

Jester king is definitely in plans because the groom likes sours. Pint house was my go to right before I moved. I think we will hit Live Oak on the way in just due to the convenient location to hw71. I also like Zilker and we aren't staying far from 6th. Hopefully will be able to check out Hop&Grains or Blue owl.

I do like Whip In, but the original owners have sold it and I haven't been since that happened. I'm not sure if they are still brewing their own beers either. Here is an article about the mess that is going on under new ownership. LINK

Hi Sign is on 71 right by the airport as you get into town. Solid spot.

Hops and grain is good. Celis, circle brewing, and pint house are all go to's.
