I know nothing about Atomic Burger, but being walking distance from all that student housing could be the ticket. If it's good and you can get in and out for less than $15 a lot of the students that live right there may be there multiple times a week.

You going to have to sell a shite ton of burgers to recoup that. That's not even building costs.

A friend of a friend is a McDonalds franchisee, and on a fishing trip he was talking about a new location he had under construction at the time in NOLA. He said that he was budgeted to spend 1.9 million to open the doors and serve the first burger.

havent had atomic but my favorite burger in BR is curbside

Curbside serves a thin, overcooked hamburger that's somewhat compensated for by having well executed toppings.

It's not bad, but how it's people's favorite burger in Baton Rouge is utterly beyond me.

The owner seems to have a few loose screws up there per his 104.9 commercials.

I had Atomic Burger last weekend, it's legit. Split an Atomic burger and Jamburger with my BIL, sis had the mushroom swiss slider, everyone loved it. I'd stop by at least once a week if I lived in Metry.

Remember all the curbside hype around 2013 or so when Barcadia opened? That was overboard.
