Does anybody know if this is served anywhere in the Baton Rouge or New Orleans area. I read in an article that carp is usually a crappy fish, but this Chef from New Orleans said that this fish taste really good.

Boniest, nastiest, oiliest tasting fish I've ever tried in my life. Not even suited for animal consumption in my opinion. Also if this is the chef that I'm thinking about, well, he would sell his mother to make a buck.

A guy I know grilled some on the half shell the same way he does redfish. I was not near drunk enough to try it, but I think the general consensus was it tasted like greasy dogshit.

WOW, when I read the article I was wondering how the hell this guy could make it taste good. I was just wondering if anybody had any truth to this article.
