Drove down Perkins Road today - Ahuua's Mexican Restaurant (in old Calendar's location) is closed, empty and up for sale.

Anyone go there while they were open?

So I'm to assume this is no great loss to the dining options of Baton Rouge.

Thanks for the info.

Is the one on Jones Creek still open? Very average food.

IMO, that should be a really good spot for something to open and succeed......if the food is good of course.

I was disappointed when another crappy Mexican place opened there.

possible, but Calendar's did well there for ~20 years. Well, 15 maybe, and the shootings there way back when didn't help matters.

I'm sure a good restaurant would do well there.
