How good is their pizza?

I'll be in BR tomorrow for the game, we may swing by Parrain's for a little while and I saw the sign for Schlittz and Giggles last week. Just wondering if they have good pizza.

Thanks for any help!

Average college town pizza joint. Nothing to write home about.

It's probably better than what we're used to getting here in Lake Charles.

I know Johnny's is raved about on here but I don't know where it is in BR.

This place looks close to Parrain's which is why I asked. I might walk over and get a pizza from there, if it's worth it.

Mediocre greasy pizza, decent thin crust..better taken home and doctored up a bit.

Nice huge screen for an isolated tv game on a slow weeknight when they're not totally slammed.

Even in BR there is much better pizza to be had.

Tell me where, please. We usually stay on Constitution, I'm not sure where we're staying tomorrow, it's either there or on Corporate.

Any place near there or a place we can hit on the way back from the game?

Look at the name, take a deep breath, look around at the depths of humanity, read the name agin, do you think it's a good joint? Then go a head.

The area where Parrain's, Acme Oyster House, etc, seems ok.

I admit I don't live there so I really don't know. That's why I started this thread.

I was thinking of calling it in and just swinging by and picking up a pizza while we're at Parrain's for a while, if we go there.

Nah, we had them all over the place when I lived in Florida.

But thanks for the suggestion though.

So is the consensus to check out Red Zeppelin over Schlittz and Giggles?

What is it with the cheesy names? Is that a BR thing? I would boycott just based on the names.

It's a thin crust pizza. As long as you like that.

Not any really great pizza places in BR.
