I saw a sign that says 6.99 lunch buffet. Any reviews?

It's small and not very good. If you want a bomb-arse buffet, try Foo Chow in Walker. On Friday/Saturday nights they have seafood on the buffet -- shrimp, oysters, blue crabs, snow crabs, etc. -- plus some decent sushi, Mongolian grill, and all the basics, and it's only $13.99.

I disagree. Central Buffet doesn't have the blue crabs and snow crab legs

Are ya'll really arguing about cheap seafood offerings on an Asian buffet?

I went last week. It's really more of a takeout place than a buffet. There are only three tables to sit at so I'm guessing by buffet you get as much as can fit in a styrofoam container for that price.

My takeout order of General Tso's was pretty good.

Any other seafood buffet w/ blue crabs and snow crabs would charge an arm and a leg. The ones at Foo Chow are damn good and it's only $13.99.

Gotten to go from there before, it's the same as all the other picture menu mafia places.

You are preaching to the choir brother. I now need to hit up Central buffet too apparently.

Never the buffet. I do get a box to go for lunch every other week or so. Nothing special. I think most of these strip-mall Chinese places use the same recipes for the most part. The only thing to take into consideration is location.

Central buffet isn't very good outside of the Mongolian BBQ. Crab legs are only on Friday night.

Mongolian BBQ is legit. Rice or noodles. They also have a gigantic tub of chili paste and minced garlic you can pick, egg, chicken, pork, and beef. And veg

When Central Buffet first opened, I liked it a lot... but Foo Chow is much better. They even have homemade almond cookies
