re: 18 steak - any suggestions?

Quick review from last night:

Apps were good. Got the BBQ shrimp and fried oysters. Both were good but pricey (15 and 16 respectively). One of my friends got the chicken and andouille gumbo which had a weird consistency and was just not good.

Salads were fine. Nothing remarkable.

I thought the steaks were good but like everyone said, quite pricey. I had the ribeye which was cooked a perfect med rare and had very good flavor. The misses had the filet med rare which she thought was a little undercooked but was perfect for me (I traded her some of the ribeye for the rest of the filet).

The sides were ok. I had duck fat fries which were good but expensive. The whole table had the same impressions with their sides. Good but pricey for what you get.

In short, the food was good (steaks were very good) but overpriced. (The ribeye was $42 and came with nothing).
