Is the Mississippi Sound in danger yet?

Or, rather..how far has the freshwater come and is it effecting the mississippi sound yet? I fish a lot out in the barrier islands and louisiana marshes and was curious..

You might want to check out this THREAD. The yellow color highlights the fresh water from the Mississippi River. Looks as if it hasn't reached Mississippi Sound. Yet.

It's like chocolate milk from 3 miles east of chandeleur back west to Biloxi marsh and on down to Breton sound
