When you click on the current flow at any of the locations below I get -999. Unless the river started flowing backward it seems like none of these are working - or taken off intentionally. Anyone know whats going on?

I think the same thing happened on the mornings of the 11/22/63 and 9/11/01.

-999 is a default missing value.

these stations don't have flow gauges, only water level height.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything- my point is that maybe they don't want to advertise that kind of info at the moment.

I know. I was going for the cheap laugh. Have no idea what is going on with the gauges. You raise a serious point.

I've been checking these for the past week and a half, and they have been working with a certain flow corresponding to the height of the river. I haven't been able to find a working one from Arkansas City to New Orleans. Anyone have any idea?

here's one at Memphis that's working for a couple of observations

it looks to me like most of the data is getting automatically flagged so that it's not released to the web

I'll send a Freedom of Information Act letter immediately.

That is incorrect.

In earlier posts here I was including a link for the data from Red River Landing. It included height and flow.

Perhaps there's been a decision not to release the flow data any longer.
