I was up there by the Little Missouri River.. It wasn't so little. It set record flood levels this year.
The Yellowstone river flooded the Interstate in two spots in Montana. One spot had flowing water over the hwy for about a quarter mile and at least 6" deep all the way. Both of these feed the Missouri.
Plus there is still a very good snow pack up there. ND had a real late blizzard this year in the first wk of May. I was about an hr east of Bismark. It rained all three days I was there. the locals told me that it had been raining at least 3-4 days out of the week for the last 3 wks after the last snow fall.
So if it heats up there really quick, there could be some HUGE problems. If that snowpack melts quickly, y'all are gonna get a bunch more water coming your way.
So besides the rain, I'd watch for quick rising temps up north. It's supposed to heat up this next wk.
