Did he happen to fly with the 303rd? I had a cousin that was a 303rd B17 pilot and flew missions over Germany. While researching his service, I found this website (link below) that has some really great information on the missions they flew, pictures, nose art, etc.

I'm curious what NC Tigah et al. can do with colorization. Maybe a bad arse B17 in the background.

To all of you farkers here, the pics in this thread are magnificent, you guys are the best. I posted a pic of friend that retired from the Navy and they sure helped me out. Keep up the good work guys, your help on things such as this are appreciated!
