Agreed. I try to make it a point to address the ones that you know they put in a lot of work on, even if other's haven't. The upvote/downvote only goes so far and mine, as you know, can be controversial at times so I accept some retards downvoting.

I had been thinking for a while of doing a "second chance" type thread to give people the opportunity to re-show their work if they wanted to.

We could have a stickied HOF thread always at the top. Maybe the # of upvotes would make it inclusive.

I'll ask the admins. What should be the vote threshold? 50 upvotes? 20?

I think 20 is too low. The first page of the flamingo thread, some of the farks are up to 150 and 200 up votes. I think somewhere between 50 and 75 would be a good threshold for a hall of fame status.

True, but that was a big time anomaly. 200 never happens here

I think 50-75 is fair as well. Truth be told, regardless of who the author of the post is, if they put in the effort, I almost always upvote it.

What would you farkers consider your best yeye work.

Unfortunately, I came late to the YeYe thread party. I did end up doing some work there and on other YeYe stuff throughout my time here, but my first farkings were for the Reuben Foster thread. I have respect for YeYe though. All things considered, he's handled the ribbing like a champ.

Happy Anniversary Pain Train , love your work glad you found this place.

Much thanks! I'm a big fan of yours in return.

You aren't pushing the envelope far enough unless you are being controversial and getting some down votes here and there. Agreed about the upvote/downvote system in general though. Something simple may get a lot of upvotes from the board lurkers while something that we as farkers know was difficult and took a good amount of time may not register much more than a blip.

Solid idea. We also need to update the Classic Fark Threads in Hugo's stickied thread (or start a new one) to include the newer threads - 7thward, Sharpton, Reuben Foster, Boater Safety, Spurticus' Halloween threads, etc.

Happy Anniversary PT!
I love the idea of a second chance thread. I've done a few that i thought were pretty good and I think they got lost in some threads. The one posted below was in one of the early Kim Jong Un threads.

Some personal favorites of mine from over the years. posted
here and on some other boards as well:

One of the first farks I ever posted

A few years back, someone here asked for a fark of Gene
Chizik as Ozzy. Sounded like something that would be fun
to do. I always liked this one once I posted it

This one was from the SEC Coaches Halloween thread a couple
of years ago. This one took a while, but I was kind of
proud of it once I was finished with it. Gary Pinkel as
Darth Maul

This one was from that same thread that year. Liked this
one a lot as well. James Franklin as Xerxes

Laughed my arse off while I was doing this one

Not too bad

From the BEST THREAD EVER !
There were a lot of good ones in this thread, but I was
really happy with these

I could edit this thread title to something like "Memory Lane / Second Chance Thread" or do you think starting another thread just for second chance purposes would be better?

Post the GIF of YeYe and 7thward as the two kids having the dance-off. That one always cracks me up.

I always look forward to seeing your work.

That thread has a lot of great work from a lot of farkers here. That Total Recall one of yours is a crown jewel of farks. I wanted to post some of my farks from that thread earlier but with over 100 farks in my Sharpton Thread Folder , it was kind of tough to decide. I'm kind of partial to these:

I was happy with how this one came out as far as sort of maintaining true to the movie's character (attitude).

Sharpton has a big featured face and Willis has a slender, long head so I was surprised at how well I could actually get this one to work.

This is mostly a case of combining the right source pics. The right pic of Al with the right angle and direction of his face/look made this one.

Have to throw in a GIF

I posted my Les Miles as The Fonz and JCinBama posted my Sumlin as the Ain't Nobody Got Time For That lady from your Halloween threads. I also like these:

How's about a separate thread for 2nd chance and memory lane farks? I think most would get a kick out of it!
