I got a version of it but I need an easy way to erase one layer (the jpeg ritter I have) in each frame so I can mask the graphic and the sabans arms.. I can do it in after effects but when I go to edit the ritter pic and erase parts of him it places ritter graphic by itself on a black BG, and I can edit it but not in relation to the saban jumping foreground

You could cheat, throw in a huge heart graphic (in time with and cover the CBS logo) hiding everything but Ritter's face and Saban's back...just a thought

Just an FYI for you guys in case you don't have another tool that does this. Imgur.com will let you create a free picture hosting account, and is has a feature under the upload images tab for "Video to Gif" that lets you grab youtube videos and clip a section that gets converted to a gif that you can download. It's how I created the clip of the game that I used above.
