Currently have Jesse James at the TE. Hunter Henry is available.

Should I drop Graham Gano and risk no kicker this week (projected to win by 18 currently). If I need to Nick Folk (Monday night game) and Janikowski (Sunday 3:25 game) are out there if I need to drop someone and play a kicker.

Other people on my bench worth potentially dropping are Kerly and Mike Wallace. I also have Deangelo (Bell owner).

Another option would be dropping Tenn and playing no defense.

Thoughts or would you just roll with Jesse James and risk getting Henry Wednesday morning on waivers?

Henry should not be available after playing last night.

I know...that's why I'm trying to pick him up now. What would you do?

I'm confused, Henry is available for immediate adding after playing last night? What kind of waiver wire rules does your league have?

Now that Henry has played, he is likely back on waivers. So I don't think you can pick him up now anyway. It's possible your league is different I guess. But in most leagues, as soon as a game kick off, all the players on those teams are put on waivers for the next week.

That being said, I wouldn't do this even if it were possible.

Well it sounds like you can't get him until next week...but drop Wallace for Henry.

Ha, I think we're all on the same page here. OP, please explain why Hunter Henry is available for immediate pickup.

I wouldn't play without a kicker or defense just to snatch up Henry before Wednesday

Drop kerley Wallace or Deangelo

Bc if Henry isn't owned no one is picking up those schlubs. Grab em back next week

I know that I can add him right now. Do I grab him for Kerley, Wallace, or Deangelo. Or risk playing no Kicker or Defense?

I mean this whole situation doesn't make sense to me. You're saying that all players from the Thursday night game are available for immediate pickup? That can't be right.

But let's assume you're right. I wouldn't play without a K or DEF. I guess it depends how deep you are at WR otherwise and what's on waivers, but it's potentially not a bad move to drop Wallace for Henry, and then drop Jesse James for a comparable WR when waivers come back around.

But he has to play Jesse James this week, right? I don't think he's saying he can pick up Henry and put him in his starting lineup for this week.

I was right and that's exactly what I did. Dropped Wallace for Henry. I'll drop James or my extra D (I have Minny D on bye...wasn't dropping them) next week for a comparable WR depth.

With their apparent waiver wire system, who knows?

Correct. I can pick him but can't use his points this week. I need JJ to play this week.

Weird stuff. If I were you I'd keep that in mind for future weeks and see if you can scoop up a WW guy after a good Thursday night without wasting waiver priority

I did it last week with Kerley. Picked him up Friday morning. Not sure the other people in my league know about our current loop hole on Thursday night games.
