Barring a collapse, it looks as though I'm on my way to the playoffs, but with Elliott's playoff status uncertain, I need to figure out how to possibly make up that production in the playoffs. Luckily, Gordon is on the WW. So I'm hoping he can relive some 2014 magic

Thoughts on dropping any of these guys for him:
D McFadden
T Montgomery
D Henry
D Jackson

All these guys are on my Bench and have been for weeks.

I'm leaning McFadden but I'd like to see if he moves into Elliott's spot when the hammer finally comes down.

I tend to agree but I have to take a flyer for the playoffs with Zeke likely not going to be there at some point and all those guys not producing for me either.

Would Woodhead be a better option to pick up for any of those same guys?

No, this is strictly a move for weeks 14 and 15 in mind.

You can’t drop McFadden ahead of Thursday decision

Montgomery and DJax have about run their course

Gordon is a must own going into the playoffs on the off chance he explodes.

Josh Gordon 2013. - 14 games 87 receptions 1646yds 9 tds.

Antonio Brown best year - 16 games 136 receptions 1834 10 tds

With Jason Campbell, Hoyer, and Weeden

Oh yeah he was 22. GOAT season for a 22 year old

The return on an agent who is free?

If you have the opportunity to add a 1600 yard WR for free and don’t take it then ya dumb. IDGAF if he score zeros three straight week. You’re talking about dropping guys who could’ve been dropped weeks ago

I just don't see it, by the time you feel comfortable to start him it will be the final. Then multiply that by the realistically extremely low odds that he plays great.

Last time this happened, he blew up the first couple of games back then probably screwed the people that started him late in the playoffs.

With that said, people are still holding on to the likes of Abdullah and Rob Kelley so you have a point.

Putting on my rational hat for a second, the chances that Gordon contributes anything this year are very low. He's more of a keeper/dynasty hold for next year once he has an actual off season back on a football team and starts playing and shaking off the rust. That said, he's a fun add just because of the excitement that he brings. The upside is fun to fantasize about.

I see what you're saying and somewhat agree but even if he sits on my bench, then he's not on the other guy's team that I'm playing in the playoffs if I pick him up.

. . . And absent a few injuries, none of the guys I've listed will be in my line-up either.

Ya, point is people have guys on their bench that they know will never return value at this point in the season.

If you’re in the playoffs that deep, you have a good team, you don’t even need Gordon, per se. If he shows something early, you hypothetically can slide the dude in the flex assuming you have 2 good WRs

The chance of Gordon going off this year aren’t high. But Cleveland is averaging nearly 40 pass attempts per game, 6th highest in the league. You are talking a heaping help of targets for Gordon - who is already in shape and has a few weeks to practice. If Kessler gets another shot, he can put the ball on Gordon enough. His stud season he only caught 55% of the targets as is - volume wins out

A guy out of nowhere always propels propel to the title

If he comes back and is a starter, do u want to face him as the other team’s flex in week 16 (fantasy finals)?

I dropped him in the redraft league that I had picked him up in, his playoff schedule is tough. But you make a good argument. I'll see if I can pick him back up.

Playoff sched isn’t the best. But they will be getting hammered in those games. Lotta pass attempts, lotta possible volume - see how it plays out, i say

Agreed. Plus I'm tied for first in that league but my receivers are definitely my weakest position. Not terrible, but could use the help.

My bench is like a who's who of who could be good receivers coming off injury. Corey Davis, Doctson, DeDe and sterling shepard. Dropping Doctson for Gordon.

Starters are tyreek, Baldwin and tate.
