Who should I pick up? Lafell or Boyd?

12 team non-ppr.

With AJ and Gio going down, the Bengals have to throw to someone.

Lafell seems like the deep flashy option, but has shown that he has poor hands and is unreliable.

Boyd had less targets but had the TD on Sunday. Might take more of those screen passes that Gio would have.

I just traded Brandin Cooks away for Hopkins and Graham (Zach Miller going down with a must win next week). My other receiver is Jordy so I'm set there and in my flex. I don't trust Hopkins so I want a steady back up that could help me out.

Lafell had chance after chance to do something last year with Tom Brady and flopped.

I would go with Boyd.

I would go with Lafell in a non-PPR since he's had a little bit more of a redzone presence.

Boyd is probably lower floor, higher ceiling.

Lafell is probably higher floor, lower ceiling.

I think I'd rather take Boyd.

Yeah definitely leaning towards Boyd. I have to win out the next two weeks for a shot at the playoffs.

After my trade today I'll be left with:

QB Brees
RB Miller
RB Kelley
WR Jordy
WR Hopkins
TE Graham
Flex Booker
D Seattle
K Gostkowski

Notable bench: James White, Ivory, and John Brown.

Would love to find a guy on waivers that could relieve Hopkins if need be.
