I'm hurting at RB after the Danny Woodhead injury, and will flip a QB for a RB. Looking between Lamar Miller and Jordan Howard.

Basis PPR scoring who is the better RB?

No Person in their right mind would give up either of those RBs for a only a Qb unless they have Keenum as their starter and all the other starters in the NFL are taken as well.

Qbs aren't nearly as valuable as workhorse RBs.

For the next few weeks it's Howard. Once Langford is back, it's probably Miller.

But I echo Keeble that no one is going to trade either one of these guys for a QB

Langford is going to lose his job to Howard (if he already hasn't)

Even if that QB is Matt Ryan?

Which is just stole from a Cowboys fan that traded Ryan for Prescott straight up

There is no way I'd give up Howard, let alone Miller to upgrade Bortles to Ryan. But maybe this guy is a dunce and you can take advantage of him

This is the NFL. Teams use multiple backs when they can. When Langford comes back, he will definitely eat into Howard's touches and that will make Howard less valuable from a fantasy standpoint. Is it possible Langford comes back and is so bad that he's buried on the bench? Sure, but it's not likely. And even in that scenario he will eat into his touches for at least a week or two.

I'm not taking anything away from Howard, the dude is a monster, but I'd expect something more in the range of 12-15 touches per week instead of the 20-25 he's been getting without Langford. He'll still probably be an RB2 and maybe have RB1 upside, but he won't be the locked and loaded RB1 he is right now.

On the other hand, Miller is really the only RB in Houston and you can expect 20+ touches from him every week, barring injury. He's the 22nd RB in fantasy right now (depending on your scoring) and he's had more touches without a TD in the first 4 weeks than anyone in NFL history (look it up). So I'd expect that to change and for Miller to be likely be a solid RB1 the rest of the way.

Agree with all of this. You're my vote for Fantasy Board newcomer of the year so far
