I am just in need of a safe, solid performance from my QB and Flex spot. I have Beckham, Dez, Shady, Hyde and Graham to serve as my heavy hitters.

Last week I went for the home run with Kaepernick at QB and it almost cost me. I just need my QB and Flex spot to hold serve and not hurt me.

QB options are:
- Kaepernick vs NYJ
- Cam Newton vs SD
- Drop Kaep and get Eli vs DAL
- Drop Kaep and get Smith vs OAK
- Drop Kaep and get Taylor vs PIT

I am super tempted to go Kaepernick again, but it goes against my safe needs. Cam may do ok against SD, but he's been a plug all year. Eli would seem to be the "safe" guy, but I don't think a ton of points will be scored against Dallas. Last week I would have said Taylor, but I don't think he's the best option here either.

At my flex my options are

Tate vs CHI
Watkins vs PIT
Crowell vs CIN

I'm thinking Tate is a safe play. He's been doing great and it's against Chicago (assuming they aren't playing in Chicago in a blizzard). Watkins may have the most upside, but isn't safe. Crowell is just in there...I don't know if he should even be considered.

Thoughts??

I picked up Taylor because he plays Cleveland at home the following week.

That would be wonderful...but if I lose this week it's all moot.

How short is Kaepernick's leash this week? Idk
I'd play Eli vs Dallas.
If Kaepernick doesn't get pulled this week, have him in the mix next week since he's playing ATL. The potential would be there

I am leaning towards 3 options at QB..

1. Drop Kaep and pick up Eli. Start Eli.

2. Drop Kaep and pick up Taylor. Start Cam

3. Start Kaep.

Cam is the safest play this week IMO...The odds of him getting a 7-10 are pretty low. Taylor Kaep and Eli have all shown the ability to hit those single digits.

Taylor and Kaep next week are both good plays...but Kaep brings the risk of literally not playing

Just play Cam. Safest choice. Panthers defense is nothing special, Rivers will shred them. Cam should be passing all game to catch up.

Don't see how anyone can trust Kaep after last weeks nightmare.
