ASJ out of shape, may not be active Week 3

careful out there ASJ believers

Still taking the chance on him. He couldn't practice for a few weeks. He probably got winded easily. That's likely what Bowles saw.

I'm sure it's not a problem, he's still been around the team, coaches and training staff. Just unable to practice.

"He's got to get in a little better shape," coach Todd Bowles said. "That's to be expected with two weeks off, but he'll get going."

More good Jordy news Byron.
quote:

"Today it feels a lot better than what it did on Sunday night, so everything is headed in the right direction," Nelson said, via the team's official website. "My expectations are to play, but you don't know what can happen between now and then. That was my expectation when I came in here Monday morning as well."

A lot of questions about Titans running backs yesterday. Saw this statistic and found it interesting.
quote:

Among the 36 running backs with at least 15 carries this season, Murray's -0.19 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per attempt ranks 32nd -- meaning a league average running back would have scored 0.19 more points than Murray did if put in similar situations -- while Henry's 0.41 ranks first.

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) didn't practice and may miss Seattle with RB Derrick Henry having another big role.

Buffalo Bills TE Charles Clay (knee) was limited but should play vs. Denver.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Tyler Eifert (back) didn't practice and is unlikely to play in Green Bay.

Los Angeles Rams TE Gerald Everett (thigh-questionable) was limited but should go in San Francisco.

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (groin) didn't practice. They are hopeful he goes vs. Houston. New York Giants

TE Evan Engram (concussion) was limited. They hope he'll be cleared to play in Philadelphia.

Oakland Raiders TE Jared Cook (shoulder) was limited but should play in Washington.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jesse James (ankle) didn't practice and is iffy to play at Chicago.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (hip-questionable) was limited but should play vs. the Rams. Seattle Seahawks

TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) didn't practice and is very iffy for Tennessee.

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (ribs/sternum) didn't practice and is uncertain to play vs. Oakland.

Watson is an intriguing dart throw. Jax's DBs should lock down Baltimore WRs, so Watson should be busy

If he's gonna keep getting 30 touches/game, he shouldn't.

Even more good news on Jordy, Byron.

quote:

As it turns out, Nelson suffered a charley horse in Sunday's game, and just couldn't get through it. He has been making progress in the days since, and was even able to put in a full practice session to kick off the week Wednesday.
