Vereen worth a roster spot?

Is Shane Vereen worth hanging onto until his possible return in Week 11?
I'm leaning toward no, especially since I only have three other running backs on my roster (standard scoring, 16 roster spots).
I always seem to fizzle out in the playoffs in this league, and I think that's why I'm having issues letting Vereen go.
If I let him go, do y'all think Leon Washington would be the 'next man up' in New England?
What do y'all say, FSB?

If you have 6 spots of less on your bench drop him. If someone has Percy Harvin, he'll probably be picked up. It's good to add him back around week 7-8 if nobody picks him up.

I dropped him last night and picked up Helu. Don't really need a RB, but just took a shot in the dark in case Morris happens to go down at any point. I was going to hold onto Vereen until they announced he wouldn't return until Week 11 at the earliest.
