I'm scared. He also has the Ravens D but is choosing to bench them

I would think you are safe, however if Brady has a big day and a few of the TDs are to Edelman they may make you nervous. Especially if it's PPR.

What do you mean sitting the Ravens D? Is he not playing a defense at all?

Yes. Not playing a D. He's my son in law. We talked about it and his reasoning is if Brady and Edelman go nuts, he doesn't want to go negative on D. I think it's a huge risk

I'm up 18 and he has Malcolm Mitchell and Justin Tucker. Gonna be close. Isn't the weather supposed to be bad?

Just looked. Weather is bad now...but drops to 10% precipitation for the rest of the day.

Ravens D is tough. I feel a low scoring game tonight.

Since he's desperate he should play his D and hope for maybe some sort of fumble scoop and score idk

Especially if it's bad weather

That seems really dumb IMO

What's the most negative the D can even go? Seems high risk low reward

I've seen a D go -5 in our league. But that's only if they give up about 40. Like I said, I think it's a high risk as well.

I mean, the man has got a point, and it's something to consider for sure. What are the defensive settings for yards and points?

With that said, his odds are better if he plays the BAL D.

Just a recent example from yesterday, Sieman+Sanders+Titans D probably netted close to that.

28-34 pts allowed -3
35+ pts-7

Dann...I'm wouldn't not play a D, unless y'all settings are really tough for D. I'm assuming points for a sack, int, and turnover. Special teams touchdowns?

My prediction is not playing a D cost him this game. 6 points from defense, 15 from edelman, 30 from Brady....that's really not a huge stretch.

then he should play the defense for sure.

I guess I can see it potentially happening...

If he's banking on 40 from Brady and 10-15 from Edelman then the Balt D would hit the -7... But if Brady only ends up getting 28-30 and then there's a special teams TD, fumble recovery, few sacks, etc it could cost him.

Really no way to know

Yeah it's a risk either way...however, personally I would rather have 3 trying to score 51 versus 2.

if he knew his QB and WR were playing against his D this week, and he was worried about negative points because its brady, why didnt he just pick up a different D before yesterday?

Because he didn't know he'd be down 51.

Playing the D still gives him the better chance to win

Great point. Any D against the Patriots at home is a terrible play, especially going against multiple Patriots players. There had to be a better play on the WW and a player on his bench he could drop for it.

Agreed...but nothing can be done now.

My pick up of Atlanta is what will carry my to round 2. Some people rather stick with one defense though.
