That's a really bad strategy. Never make a bid just to drive the price up. You said it was poorly played on your part, but the mistake was to even do it in the first place.

Negotiations are going to be tough because if it is a 1 QB league, everyone has at least a playable QB. Plus, they'll hold the upper hand in negotiations knowing that you're desperate to move a QB. Trading for Tajae Sharpe doesn't make sense, it feels like there should be comparable waiver-wire replacements available unless you're in a big league.
