I was offered Trout, Starlin Castro, Travis

for

Bryant, Ian Desmond, Syndergarrd

12 team, H2H, 8x8 including OBP & QS

The way our league is set up we sign 1 Rookie/Closer, 1 Vet batter and 1 SP. I of course signed Bryant earlier this year for 3 years and already have Rizzo and Kluber as my vet batter and SP.

Can you keep Trout? What's his contract? You signed Bryant for 3 years but will he still be considered a rookie? Can you keep Rizzo and Bryant in those two slots?

There are many different variables to consider here. With that said, it's unlikely you keep Desmond or Syndergaard with only 3 keepers. One would still rather have Trout than Bryant so I take that end of the deal especially if I can keep him. Pairing Trout and Rizzo also increases your chances of winning now as well.

I currently have Rizzo, Bryant and Kluber as my keepers. If I accept the trade I would be able to keep either Rizzo or Trout. I'll be giving up the option to keep Bryant and Syndergarrd

Wow this is a brutal decision, trying to break it down trout is the best player, but Bryant could end up being just as good over the course of the deal.

Also, I think you are giving up the 2,3,4th best players in the trade.

Can't beleive im going to say this but I don't think I would do it, you would be giving up potentially the top 3b in the coming years, a very good ss and a pitcher that has a lot of promise for essentially just trout ( over the course of your keepers ) who plays a much deeper postion.

Eta: just curious, would you consider yourself a favorite to win this year making this trade? If trout could bring you a championship this year that may sway things the other way for me.

This is how I'm feeling too. I have Bryant for 2 more years after this season and if Syndergarrd throws sick numbers he could potentially be my SP keeper (highly doubtful now since Kluber has turned it on)

If I make this trade I will lose both Rizzo and Bryant next season and have Trout as my vet hitter keeper. (assuming I keep Trout over Rizzo)

I'm rejecting the trade! Rizzo, Bryant have already shown early signs of an amazing 1,2 punch and can't afford to get rid of them.

I'm currently in 2nd place with a commanding lead over the bottom half. I actually beat the guy who offered me the trade last week 15-0 in our h2h 8x8 format.
