quote:

- 48 teams/4 separate divisions of 12 teams each

- $100 entry fee

- last 6 weeks of season pays out weekly scoring bonuses for top overall league points and top division points

- $75/week for overall points, $25/week for top division ($600 total)

- 1st place in the division receives $350, runner up gets money back ($2,700)

- Overall champ wins $1,000. runner up $500 ($1,500)

Now is it just me, or does $1,350 seem on the low end to beat out 47 other teams with a $4,800 pot?

That is stupid as hell.

Champ should get payout of $4,500
Runner Up $200
3rd $100

I like getting paid for weekly leader in points. 75 may be too much

What do you mean by 25 a week for top division?

I mean, it depends on the MO of the league.

A. Lots of members, spread the money around, give more people the opportunity to win some money

or

B. Survivor pool type league, last man standing collects the majority of the pot

Sounds like things are set up with A more in mind than B

It is. Set up to keep more people interested rather than crown a big winner. I just go over this in my head every year when I can taste the championship and get greedy. I didn't get top points once so that sucks too.

to the other question, $25 if you're the top for points in your division that week. So you could be top in your division and score the most in the entire league and win $100.

Haha. I've never played in a league with that amount of teams so I have no clue how the payout should be. But if I won it, I would callin for them stacks

Is this a 1 and done league?

Everyone has the same players/entire free agent pool to choose from and you can only play that player once for the entire season. I only enjoy those leagues in the playoffs

I'm in a 60 team league. 10 teams 6 Divisions. Top 3 teams make it based on record, per division. Then one wild card, highest points scored out of the rest of the division, record is insignificant. Week 14 & 15 are Divisional playoff. 16 is a free for all among division winners for the big prize. Payouts go as following:

1st Place Division = $500
2nd Place Division = $150
1st Place Overall = $2,000 ($500 Division + $1,500 for League Champion)
2nd Place Overall = $1,000 ($500 Division + $500 for League Champion Runner-up)
Weekly Payouts beginning Week 7 through Week 13
$130 for team with highest weekly total points (out of all 60 teams)
$75 for team with 2nd highest total points (out of all 60 teams)
