I was never totally convinced that he would be an impact bat in the majors, but its way too early to write him off just yet.

Bregs went 3/5 with a triple last night after starting out 2/23 at High A ball.
Also got thrown out twice on the base paths, so that shite was not all on Mainieri

His K% was 9.8% and BB% was 12.8% in A ball. Those are both fantastic and more indicative of major league success then almost any other stat in MiLB.
Obviously he has a ways to go, but it won't take much for him to push Valbuena out of 3B and go with a Carrea 3B/ Bregs SS combo
